Round Island Keel Scale Boa Awareness
Less than 1000, how can we fix it?

Our Campaign
Help save the Round Island habitat
Because of introduction of foreign species (Goats and Bunnies ect.) the Round Island Keel Scale Boa risks losing its habitat and possibly risks going extinct. The Keel Scale Boa is one of the ranges of Boas on the island, a variation that has now gone extinct, the Round Island Burrowing Boa, was lost due to the loss of habitat and new species introduction on the island. The last one was seen in 1975. There is still hope for the Keel Scale Boa however. Losing this species would mean losing a rare breed of snake, with its hinged jaw it is one of few breeds that have it. We need to end the transfer of new species to the island and save the Keel Scale Boa!
